American Hard Maple
(Acer saccharum)

Hard Maple grows abundantly in the Eastern United States. It is harder and heavier than Soft Maple (A. Saccharinum and Acer rubrum). It is very close-grained. We finish maple by hand with Tung oil and clear wax to preserve the fresh, light color.
