sustainable maple chopping block for dartmouth college

  • These very functional and beautiful chopping blocks are made from Sugar Maple (also called Hard or Rock Maple). The blocks are a by-product of our now famous “Naked Table Project.” They are finished with an all-natural Mineral oil. You can use the same if you need to restore the finish.
  • These breadboards are made by a local craftsman from our original design.
  • Each block is inscribed with the motto of Dartmouth College, "VOX CLAMANTIS IN DESERTO," which literally means, "the voice of one crying in the wilderness."
  • Each block is also inscribed with the "Dartmouth College Shield."
