Our newest craftsman, Pete Michelinie, trained at the renowned North Bennett Street Furniture School in Boston. In December of 2011, he joined ShackletonThomas to work with Charles Shackleton on a series of new designs. Pete has produced some exquisite work since he started with the company, including these stunning jewelry boxes and the gorgeous Gilded Modern Classic Mirror.

Before he arrived at ShackletonThomas, Pete worked for three years making furniture and driving cooking oil-powered buses in Portland, Oregon. Outside of the workshop, Pete enjoys long distance hiking and playing the drums in his band. The latter has taken him across the country east to west, the former north to south.
