The Naked Table Project

Started by Charles Shackleton, the Naked Table Project is a sustainable community event where trees, foresters, makers, chefs, food, and the community come together to celebrate the idea of a different kind of harvest, the harvest of trees. It celebrates the idea of the table as central to our lives. Participants learn about a sustainable approach to furniture making, how to prepare and assemble its mortise and tenon joinery, and how to finish their tables to look their best.
