“I wanted to design some furniture that a younger generation could afford as they are starting out in life. Using locally grown, wide White Pine boards finished with Vermont Natural Coatings—a durable whey based finish—my two senior furniture makers built a classic design maintaining our traditional joinery, without some of the more intricate hand made details found on our more sophisticated pieces. The Farmer’s Table is plain, simple, beautiful, and well-built.
