Farmer’s Table
Made By Hand in Vermont
The Farmer's Table is a foundational piece of the ShackletonThomas collection, handcrafted with enduring care in our Bridgewater, Vermont workshop. This white pine version of our classic rectangular design celebrates the "clean and simple" aesthetic that defines our work, serving as a functional piece of art for the modern or traditional home.
Built to be the hardworking heart of a kitchen or dining room, the Farmer's Table highlights the bright, natural character of premium maple.

The Farmer’s Table is more than a place for meals; it is a durable, heirloom-quality piece designed to host generations of family life.
“I wanted to design some furniture that a younger generation could afford as they are starting out in life. Using locally grown, wide White Pine boards finished with Vermont Natural Coatings—a durable whey based finish—my two senior furniture makers built a classic design maintaining our traditional joinery, without some of the more intricate hand made details found on our more sophisticated pieces. The Farmer’s Table is plain, simple, beautiful, and well-built. After many meals, well-worn jokes, and stories around this table, you will be able to hand it down to your children as they are starting out on their own.” —Charles Shackleton
