ShackletonLegend Aunt Kitty's Shortbread

My Aunt Kitty was a wonderful cook and held legendary tea parties in her huge kitchen. During tennis parties and before lighting the (real) candles on the Christmas Tree. I can still see her double jointed thumb working the butter into the rice and wheat flour. These are outstandingly delicious and very addictive. Be warned. I suspect this recipe came from her mother “Merm” who was from Aberdeen in Scotland.
